Cash Camp, Inc., dba WorldofMoney.org is an Internal Revenue Service 501 ( c) (3)non-profit organization providing 120 classroom hours of youth financial education in the Tri-State New York City. The World of Money Youth Financial Education Training Institute operates annually in July, with alumni programming and Parent ‘Money Matters’ Forums provided throughout the year.Our youth are taught by experienced Wall Street and business professionals. In addition to Mandarin Chinese and Excel courses, the following courses are taught: wealth mindset, business communication, body language, business etiquette, history of money, flow of money, financial institutions, contracts, disciplined savings and budgeting, check balancing, bank fees, philanthropy, credit/debit cards, stock market, mutual funds, commodities, online trading, insurance, entrepreneurship and trusts and wills. The curriculum also requires participating in Community Service. We have helmed during the NASDAQ Opening and Closing Bell Ceremonies. Nearly 7,000 youth, ages 7 – 25, and their families have been provided with the needed financial education to break a generational cycle and to change the way youth, view money by equipping them with five tenets for a financially responsible and philanthropic life: learn, earn, save, invest and donate. Parent and youth members have toured China, South Africa and Cuba. The organization is acknowledged in President Obama’s Advisory Council on Financial Capability Report.
